When we set about organising this years conference, we had a wish list for location, size and layout - not to mention facilities. Ciara Feeley at findaconferencevenue.com - who was a huge fan of last years conference (you made us feel so good! - here's a link to what she said) offered to help us find the venue. When she came back with a few options, we jumped at the offer of the Ballsbridge Court (formerly the Berkeley Court) which is the ideal location for us. Sigrid and I met with Aine and went through the options for Events Day 08. Aine took us to see the fantastic Grosvenor Suite 1 & 2 which includes a concourse area, the Herbert Suite and the Herbert bar. Sigrid had never been in the old Berkeley Court, so she didn't have the same feeling of familiarity that I had. Lovely to be back and to see that everything that we loved about the old days is still there. Even though they have to have the best value in hotel rooms (they have updated all linens and facilities) in town, the 5 star luxury is still all there. The addition of the new FXB's restaurant and other facilities like Cafe Java, and Charlie Chawke's Dubliner Gastro Bar really have brought the Ballsbridge Court up to date.
In any case, you'll see for yourself when you come through the doors on April 30th - You have booked your place, haven't you? At the registration site... See you then!
