Events Day 08: Showcase: Sheraton Athlone

One of the first exhibitors to sign up for the Events Day 08 showcase was the brand new Sheraton Athlone Hotel. They are brand new in every respect – they only just signed up as NEO members, and that before the hotel has even opened! Joanna Hannick, Business Development Manager for the Hodson Bay Group, tells me they will open for business at the end of April, and right now they are working their socks off making sure that everything will be in perfect Sheraton-standard order for their first guests.

I met Joanna a week or so ago, and she gave me a virtual tour! I really love the look - from the 12 story glazed tower - a really cool piece of architecture - to the Urban Spa.
