Events Day 08 Speakers : Meet Clyde Carroll

I think it's only appropriate that we start off our speaker section with Clyde Carroll, who will chair this years Conference. Clyde is the chairman of the advisory board of NEO Ireland and is one of the founder members. In his busy day job, Clyde is the Manager of Events and Commercial Patrnerships with Chambers Ireland where he is responsible for planning and managing all of Chambers events as well as maintaining current and future commercial partnerships.

Clyde has over 12 years experience working within the events industry. Before joining Chambers Ireland, he was the Senior Account Manager with Bravo! Group, one of Ireland's leading communication and event consultancies. Clyde’s client portfolio at Bravo! included KPMG, AIB, Bank of Ireland, Bord Gais, Budget Travel, Aer Lingus, Premier Golf (official travel operator for the US PGA) and Ericsson. His position involved every element of the event management process from inception to execution – creating concepts, writing proposals, budgeting, dealing with all types of vendors/suppliers, and finally running the event and co-ordinating large numbers of event staff.

Clyde is one of the founders of NEO Ireland, the Network for Event Organisers in Ireland and is the chairman of our Advisory Board for the second consecutive year. In addition he lectures with the Fitzwilliam Institute on event management to both the Event Management and Public Relations diploma courses.
