Wow - what a day!

The feet are falling off me... my mind's a blank... we have a huge number of thank you's to get out and need to get cracking on next year!

Events Day 07 was brilliant - I'm not going to add an "if I say so myself" as it's not actually down to me. It was down to the speakers, the sponsors, the exhibitors, the delegates and the team.

We will be putting up our own review of the day later, and we'll have an enhanced podcast available soon (thanks to Pictaural!) - it will be free (thanks to Tom Raftery!) although it may only make it's way to non delegates in a drip feed and untimely manner (thanks to Tom Keane!). We had a very lively and interesting discussion on paying for podcasts... more soon, I'm still digesting it!

So thank you to all - you made me so proud to be involved.

Congrats on the successful running of such a great event Sarah.

I think you are making the right decision on the podcasts. You won't regret it.

To see why it is the correct decision, read the book I referenced in my talk - The Cluetrain Manifesto (available as a free download at http://www.cluetrain.com).

Hey Tom, thanks for the good words. I was very interested to hear you recommend the cluetrain manifesto, and must re-visit it, as it's six or seven years since I read it. I remember being hugely impressed at the time, and I thought that the authors had set up something - I thought it had a bazaar or marketplace theme - which I was really excited about! Must look that up too. Thanks again for yesterday, great talk!

Sarah, you are correct, one of the themes of the Cluetrain Manifesto is that Markets are Conversations.
Another theme is that information wants to be free!

Sarah and team,

I am still buzzing from the energy, motivation, tips and great people I meet at Events 07. I came back to the office and shared it with everyone....they will be going next year! I am seriously looking into a lot of what was discussed and could see blogging and podcasting as essential to my bookameeting.ie website - soon to be launched. The whole day inspired me in every aspect of what I am establishing with my new conference and meetings focus. How did you find such great speakers?? Thanks again. It was a day of proof that great people just make things happen.

Hi Sarah & Team,

Just to say what a great day Communicate PR had at Events Day 07. As Neo Ireland advocates we expected the conference to be good after last year but this year gave me more knowledge on areas I was investigating.

Already we are putting a lot into action and Tom Rafferty has proved to be a fantastic resource with all his knowledge & expertise. We met this week for coffee and I see wonderful things happening for Communicate and our clients.

All I can say to you Sarah, the Neo Ireland team and the speakers is "FANTASTIC WORK" and "WELL DONE".

Here's to an even better Events Day 08 (if possible). You have set the stardard exceptionally high and I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for us next year!
